Sasha The Great! Photos of A Great Dog!

A Tribute to My Dog, Sasha!

I lost my very good friend Sasha April 6th 2021.

She was a great Tennessee Rat Terrier!

She was rescued from a puppy mill in Tennessee at age 3 or 4 in 2009 and moved to the King Pound in King Wisconsin!

I rescued her from the King Pound in the spring of 2009!

She died last week at age 15 or 16 def, blind, senile, and toothless. Not only that but she also had a bad liver, seizures, lupus, and lymes disease all which were all taking a hard toll on her physically and mentally.

She was a trooper in spite of her physical and mental infirmities until the very end!

I must say she was always my shadow because she followed me around my house day and night watching over me like God's angel with all of my health problems!

I swear I am so used to her following me around everywhere I go that I still almost trip over her because I think she is still there!

She was a great friend, a loyal companion, and a great watch dog that always had my back!

I will always remember her and miss her unconditional love!

Thank you God Our Creator for your awesome creation including my dog, Sasha!

Here are a few of my favorite quotes about dogs!

Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, Filling an emptiness we don't even know we have.

Thom Jones

A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. Status symbols mean nothing to him. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog judges others not by their color or creed or class but by who they are inside. A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his.

John Grogan

Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made.

Roger Caras

Here, Gentlemen, a dog teaches us a lesson in humanity.

Napoleon Bonaparte

The poor dog, in life the firmest friend. The first to welcome, foremost to defend.

Lord Byron

If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else's dog around.

Will Rogers

No man can be condemned for owning a dog. As long as he has a dog, he has a friend; and the poorer he gets, the better friend he has.

Will Rogers

I love a dog. He does nothing for political reasons.

Will Rogers

It is just like man's vanity and impertinence to call an animal dumb because it is dumb to his dull perceptions. Heaven is by favor; if it were by merit your dog would go in and you would stay out. Of all the creatures ever made he (man) is the most detestable. Of the entire brood, he is the only one...that possesses malice. He is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. The fact that man knows right from wrong proves his intellectual superiority to the other creatures; but the fact that he can do wrong proves his moral inferiority to any creature that cannot.

Mark Twain

I care not much for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it.

Abraham Lincoln

The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven not man's.

Mark Twain

We should remember in our dealings with animals that they are a sacred trust to us from our Heavenly Father. They are dumb and cannot speak for themselves.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
